Music Master Pro is an online multimedia based course which will not only teach you guitar, but drums and bass as well. Whichever instrument you decide to learn, the course will take you from beginner level to being a confident intermediate musician using a variety of different teaching methods.
Since we are reviewing guitar tuition packages here we will concentrate mainly on the guitar side of Music Master Pro, however, the other two instruments you can learn with the course are covered in a similar manner. The course is based around e-book lessons which are reasonably well written and contain a lot of useful information. The e-books are supplemented by 18 video lesson, 20 audio lessons and a whole host of extra tablature and exercises. Also included is a selection of jam tracks so that you can practice what you have learned to a real backing band.
Music Master Pro gives you access to all the course materials online so you can get instant access via their website. The material is well structured, easy to navigate and provides plenty of information to get you started playing the guitar. The course developers claim they have developed a learning method which will help you learn to play extra quickly, but as with all of these methods, your success depends on how you like to learn and whether you are willing to put in the practice time.
As well as the main lesson material you get some extras when you sign up to Music Master Pro. One of these is a guide to music production which will take you through the basics of how professionals arrange and produce their own music - combined with the included industry listings and record label contact details you could soon be sending off your demo tapes in the hope of becoming a rock star! You also get access to an online beat maker which you can use to easily create drum loops to practice along to and improve your timing.
In all Music Master Pro is a reasonably good guitar course for the price. If you can convince a couple of friends to start a band then you could share the cost and each pick up a different instrument! There could perhaps be slightly more content in the main course, but there are enough extras to keep you interested and practicing after you finish the lessons and everything you need to start strumming your favourite tunes.
